    Picture the scene … your business is continually attracting a steady stream of perfect clients … they hold you in high regard and love and appreciate what your business offers … they have the money to pay what you charge, don’t try to negotiate you down and pay on time… they are pleasant to deal with and cause you no hassle whatsoever … they come back time after time and recommend you to their friends and colleagues.

    Sounds like business heaven, doesn’t it? Does it sound too good to be true? What is true is that your ideal clients are out there right now. There are people who currently need your products and services and, were they to come across you, would want to do business with you. So the next step is to find ways that you can attract them and they can be attracted to you.

    Here’s how to become a magnet for your ideal clients in 5 simple steps.

    1. Define your ideal client. As, T. Harv Eker, the author of the book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind said: “The number one reason most people don’t get what they want is that they don’t know what they want.” Believe for a second that it is possible to find ideal clients and take the time to describe what they would be like for you. Think about factors such as age, gender, job, location, their interests and what they are like as people. How do they think and how do they talk? Where do they hang out, both online and offline? Social media is a fabulous tool for finding out this kind of information.
    2. Radiate what your ideal clients are looking for. Personify this image in everything you do in your business. Don’t undersell yourself – know your value and demonstrate that in your branding. Be confident in the fact that what you offer will benefit them and radiate that assurance. In all the marketing that you do, broadcast what you offer in a consistent way.
    3. Hang out where they hang out. From the research you did at step 1, you will know where your ideal clients can be found. Be where they are because the more your ideal clients are exposed to you and your brand, the more likely they are to be attracted to you.
    4. Treat them well. Live up to their expectations of you by delivering on your promises. Be courteous and sincere in your dealings with them. Make them an active and important part of your business.
    5. Seek referrals. People mix with people like them so the chances are that your ideal clients will know other people who could be your ideal clients too. If so, don’t be shy in asking for referrals.
